MacEwan Edmonton Real Estate
The neighbourhood of MacEwan is located in south Edmonton. According to the 2005 municipal census, a little more than half of the homes in MacEwan are single-family homes, and 29% are apartments and apartment-style condos. The other 19% is made up of duplexes. A total of 83% of the homes in MacEwan are owner-occupied. The largest residential fire in history of the city of Edmonton happened in MacEwan in July of 2007. The fire destroyed a condo building comprised of 149 units which was under construction, as well as 18 duplexes. Victory Christian School is the only school in the neighborhood.
